What Actually Is A Baby Pram?

Being able to choose the right travel system or pram for your child is among the biggest investments you'll make for your newborn child. Prams, travel systems and pushchairs may cost you approximately hundred pounds but can be used for quite a long time and if you are planning to have more children down the road, buying good quality prams like Quinny is probably a good idea.

One of the considerations to take into mind when buying such is your lifestyle. For instance, try asking yourself questions similar to are you walking a lot, do you prefer to use the car often, will you be walking over rough terrains, will you be travelling on public transport together with your child most of the time? There are a number of options that you can go for such as traditional prams, 3-in-1, 2-in-1, buggies, pushchairs, travel systems and double/triple buggies as well as three wheelers. 

Traditional Prams - these are perfect from birth, they are either smaller soft bodied or large bodied but don't convert to pushchairs. Two in One Pushchairs - these Prams is basically a lie flat pushchair and a separate chassis. Pushchair unit may be used from birth, facing away or facing you. Normally, there's a choice of chassis, swivel for easy maneuvering in busy places or fixed wheel with suspension for walking. 2-in-1 prams also come with removable washable liner and when used together with a mattress, can create a carrycot.

Three in One - this is a carrycot, chassis and separate pushchair unit. This carrycot is perfect as well for overnight sleeping from birth until 6 months at least. Then, the pushchair unit may be used facing either you or away. The pushchair also have an adjustable footrest and reclining back rest. There's also the choice of chassis available, larger wheel chassis with fixed wheels and at the same time, suspension which is ideal for walking providing better comfort to both you and your baby.

Pushchairs - lightweight pushchair or a stroller is perfect if you are going to use public transport oftentimes, go on a holiday or traveling on car. Some models are perfect from birth too. Normally, they have a lie flat facility with a 5-point harness, shopping basket and a lockable swivel wheels.
